Human–computer Interaction (HCI) - (Interactive TV) - Human–computer interaction is the study of interaction between people (users) and computers or computerized devices such as interactive TV systems. Coming into play are behavioral sciences, computer science, the design of the electronic devices and other fields of study. Particularly important is obtaining user satisfaction. HCI is sometimes referred to as Man–machine Interaction (MMI) or Computer–human Interaction (CHI).

Another Definition: Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use. It also studies the major phenomena surrounding them.
