Broadcast FTP Protocol - (BFTP) – BFTP is designed for the delivery of data in a single direction. BFTP can be used for IP multicast over television’s Vertical Blanking Interval (as well as IPVBI). It also can be used in IP multicasts carried in MPEG-2, as well as in other unidirectional transport systems. (2002 definition.)
