DOM - (Document Object Model) - It specifies how objects in a web page (text, images, headers, links, etc.) are represented. It can also be used to add certain enhanced features to the transmission (broadcast). DOM might be used to help make the set-top boxes' (or equivalent) interactive TV functions less dependent on the network operator.
