FMV - (Full Motion Video) - A video signal that plays at the standard speed (25 frames per second) and not at the slower speeds that can result in jerky motion and other distortions. Typically, full-motion compressed video provides anywhere from 10-30 frames per second, depending on the bandwidth allocated. Also see FSFMV. (This is a 2003 definition.)
