Self-scheduling - (in terms of TV) - Empowering viewers to determine what TV they watch, as well as how, where and when they watch it. (Thus they create their own viewing schedule.) This includes video on demand, timeshifting and mobile TV. It's the opposite of Appointment-based TV.
